Even the cast members are dressed in the native
cultural attire. Epcot is a favorite among older
audiences who can appreciate the cultural experience
that this park has to offer.
Opened in 1982, Epcot represents Walt Disney's vision
for a Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow
which was only a blueprint at the time. Epcot World
Showcase features a broad array of innovations and
ideas that have been conceived by American Industries.
Once a theme park for a more mature audience, has
now become fun for the entire family with high energy
attractions including boat rides, movies, Kim Possible

"Beauty and the Beast is a must see"
- Beauty and the beast, a 19th century
epic is based on magical romance between
a maid and prince who has been changed
into a hideous beast. Beauty "Belle"
is considered to be an unusual girl
with a ferocious appetite for reading
all the books in a French town. One
day, her father gets lost in the woods
and unbeknown to Beauty, he is held
captive by the Beast. Naturally, while
in search for her father, Belle stumbles
upon a castle. She enters the castle
finding that all of the household objects
have a character of their own. I was
on the edge of my seat when beauty meets
the beast not knowing whether she would
reject him. It really will cause your
eyes to well up with tears knowing that
if beauty rejects the beast he will
remain trapped forever. This live on
stage show contains a little magic,
romance, elaborate enchanting music,
all in a 19th century casts. --Michael

"There is nothing like going inside
Cinderella's castle" - When I went to
Disney World, I was drawn by the beauty
and grandeur of Cinderella's castle.
The old castle that looked like the
frosting of a birthday cake is out and
the natural look in. From main street
the backdrop of the castle seems to
drawn you closer. Regardless of where
I was in Fantasyland, the castle seems
to tower in the background. But you
haven't seen anything until you go inside.
I would recommend seeing "Cinderella's
Royal Table restaurant." Upon entering
the main lobby with cathedral type ceilings,
there is a mural depicting the complete
story of Cinderella. At first I had
a hard time trying to locate the Disney
family coats of arms but found it displayed
on the fire place. A beautiful actress
in a ball room dress, made an appearance
in the lobby, very realistic, you think
you're meeting Cinderella herself. Make
sure that you don't miss the live Castle
Stage shows like "Cinderella's Surprise
Celebration" and "Cinderellabration."
Cinderellabration imported from Tokyo
Disneyland, is the continuation of Cinderella's
coronation and stars Cinderella, the
Fairy Godmother, and other members of
her royal court. --Michael

"The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is
outrageously scary!" - You can't imagine
the anxiety of approaching what looks
like a sky scraper hotel while following
walkways in disrepair and overgrown
gardens. Peering up at this edifice,
you see the remnants of a once elegant
hotel crumbling with a charred facade.
Screaming from atop the hotels continues
to heighten the anxiety and already
fast heart beat of those that were around
me. We approached bellhops that send
us into a small library. Suddenly the
lights dim, and an ominous voice of
Rod Sterling sets the stage for a perilous
adventure. Suddenly a lighting bolt
flashes (now in 1939) and the impact
kills all of the hotel guests. Reeling
from the thunder bolt the door suddenly
opens and we are herded off to the basement
for a ride on the insidious elevators,
past the electrical boxes, elevator
motors and other weird stuff. We are
told to strap into our seats on the
elevator, suddenly we see the ghosts
of the dead guests at the end of the
hallway. The elevator lurches upward
in total darkness, all you can hear
is the fearful travelers and others
that start to regret the ride. Finally,
we arrive at the top thinking were going
to get out the door opens, and we are
looking out of an elevator door with
a sheer drop to the ground. Suddenly
the door slams shut, a failure occurs
in the elevator shaft and we begin to
drop at the speed of gravity, hold on
for your life, what will it be like
to hit the bottom? --Michael
