Big Gator Lagoon: a one acre
habitat featuring Florida's largest gators,
11-13 feet long! Observe these reptiles
from the safety of an elevated boardwalk.
Ross Allen Island: a collection
of native snakes, turtles, spiders, otters
and other animals found in Florida. Ross
Allen owned and operated the Ross Allen
Reptile Institute at Silver Springs.
Panther Prowl: see the Western
cougar, a close cousin of the rare and endangered
Florida panther - North America's largest
and most majestic wild cat.
Rides & Activities
The Lighthouse Ride: this
attraction is a combination of a carousel
and a gondola ride.
Kids Ahoy! Playland: a replica
1800's riverboat is permanently anchored
in a shallow lagoon.
Fantastic Fountains Water Show:
1000 water nozzles present a dazzling display
of colors and movements.
The Birds of the Rain Forest Show:

Creature Feature: showcases
the "darker" creatures like bats, scorpions,
arachnids, marine toads, giant Madagascars,
and hissing cockroaches.
Alligator and Crocodile Feedings:
only offered during the warm summer months.
Wilderness Trail: climb on
board trams towed by Jeep Wranglers for
a ride into the forest for close up encounter
with native Florida wildlife.
Glass Bottom Boats: Go for
