History
Can you believe that Disney launched their first cruise liner just
ten years ago?
Started in 1995, the Disney Cruise Lines
two ships were commissioned in Fincantieri in Italy.
With only two cruise ships, the Disney Magic and Disney
Wonder, the cruise liners were a huge success.
Just recently Disney announced the addition of two new
ships, estimated to come out between the years of 2011 and 2012.
In 2009 Disney announced the new names of the ships will be the
Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy.
With the addition of two 128,000 ton ships to the fleet,
Disney Cruise lines has doubled in size and will now be housing
a host of new features onboard the Fantasy and Dream.

Review by: Ronald Green
“Well oh my goodness, this was fantastic.
I took my kids and we got a portside room, and it was just
incredible! I didn’t have
to worry about the kids the entire time, because they were always in one
of the clubs doing games and activities and basically talking our ears
off at night about all they did.
We got to relax in the sun, near the adult swimming pool; they
have a pool for each age group, for toddlers, for the family (meaning
everyone) and then an adult only pool.
The dining was great, they had it set up so you got to visit each
restaurant two to three times, so you got to sample everything, and for
the record, all the places were amazing!
We went to the 9th deck a lot because they gave free
iced tea and free sodas, so it tended to be kinda crowded around there.
The stage shows were great, the kids and my wife loved them,
especially the ones with their favorite characters from the Disney
movies. I really don’t know
how to go on and on, but this cruise was great, it was just one fun
repeat one after the other.
If you’re looking for a relaxed family fun cruise with tons of
activities and loads of entertainment take this cruise!”
